been so very long since ive updated. but here are the main things i think i should journal down.

1. hangzhou work trip was really successful! the kids were nice and they enjoyed the enrichment programme. we received a call from the principal a week after we returned saying that the parents liked the lessons. i think we can look forward to going again. i hope my other colleague can go this time. i think i'd feel better working with her. i really enjoyed this trip. all except the weather, which was a little too cold. but towards the end, it got a little better cause i was more used to it. anyway, here are some photos with the kids there.

2. work has been on and off busy. a bunch of students will start their classes next week. i hope i can continue doing my job well. im starting to see certain parts that i dont like, but its okay. i still hope everything will work out.

3. timo went to tekong. my mom and i keeps fighting over spoiling him too much. we argue so much i dont even want to talk about it. but anyway, i think he's fine. at least his 2 weekend confinement wasnt exactly 2 weekends. he came back yesterday to collect his 'a's. i remember then when yt, pq, cl and i were newcastle ambassadors and we went to his school for the roadshow. he hid away cause he didnt want ppl to see me lo. haha. damn funny. now its his turn. time passes so quickly a day doesnt even feel like one anymore.

4. one of my colleagues is getting married next week. this is literally the first wedding im attending since starting to work. haha. first red packet out.

5. coming IT show, i think i'll go get my dslr. ive been eyeing one since a long time ago. i dont really wanna do the professional photo-taking. i just want one that i can use long term for fun. especially when i go overseas, i feel like the photos taken with my ixus looks really noobish. so ive been saving up for this. but i dont really know if i should get the d50 or the 500d. i havent done my research so i'll need to look through specs this week.

6. birthday party on 19th this month. this month will be a huge expense month. i hope i still get to save up though. i got the clubhouse chalet @ pasir ris. i really need to get down on planning the food cause i havent even looked through basic packages.

darn. so much to do this week.
