so christmas is over. im looking forward to this coming long weekend again! maybe i'll ask j out, cause i have a craving for earle's salad buffet. hee.

the christmas party this year was good. we secluded ourselves away from the hustle and bustle to this really ulu place in sembawang - the clubhouse's holiday resort. we had a bbq, and some xmas games, and spent a whole three days there. im blaming myself for putting my swimming stuff back into the wardrobe when i packed my bag cause i thought i wouldnt want to swim. THE POOL WAS BECKONING AT ME THE ENTIRE STAY, OMG. other than that, it was a good getaway. except, there's not much we did cause the place was too ulu. they should build like a mall or something. or for goodness' sake, have a mart or restaurant! daddy had to drive out like 4 times to get supplies. haha.

i also went to j's workplace for the first time. all in my mind, haha. i imagined a guardhouse to be a tattered wodden hut with straw roofings but it turned out to be quite a quaint little glass house with air-conditioning and condensation on the window panes. haha. i must be living in dreamolosarus age. haha.

tomorrow's the end of the week again! my time really passes like ultra quickly. i dont think ive ever experienced time fly at such an extend before. most of the students will be off for their break so there'll be lesser classes till the next batch of new students come in. i really want to make full use of this not-so-busy period to finish up all the admin stuff. i also want to prep for as many classes as i can. haha, if i can prep an entire year's lesson, then i'll have a lot of free time when lessons start! LOL! boss said that he'll be teaching the older kids that take the more advanced paper next semester, so that'll lighten my load by a lot! currently, i teach them something like gp, and its so hard to get them to finish their essays. i really dont want to be chasing them time after time. i sound really naggy. and im starting to feel old, though yining calls me the baby of kingston. haha. oh, and i should mention, that tuesday was my official start of 2nd month. i cant wait for next month's 15th. i'll get my namecards then and i'll be confirmed! yay! and, i cant wait for payday.

yesterday after work, i went to ting's place. suppose to help out at their first open shop for their website. but there werent many people, so i watched a lot of tv on her humongous tele instead. mummy ting wanted to mj, but i really didnt have enough time. so next time we will! 

i also had to give my support, so jiaquan came and bought me a bag which i absolutely loveeeee. here it is!

i love the detailing at the edges and how it looks like real snake leather. but it actually is just synthetic. i keep feeling it cause its so nice to touch! haha. i really want to just keep it that way and not put my stuff in to use it. i'll decide tomorrow whether i should use it. i think i will though. cause if i dont, then it really is a waste.

ting also did my nails in a pretty shade of maroon. i love the shimmer! suddenly, i realise how much i miss the uni bunch of people. i need to spend a lot more time with them.

life presents itself in many different routes, but which we pick determines how we end up. yet, how to make the correct choices is the key. it isnt simply weighing the advantages. im a strong believer that i must always follow the silent voice in the heart that tells me what choices to make. this evening i closed my eyes and saw the future, and i know i need to decide which path to go now.
