so yesterday, i went for a meet up with the head of academics and the director of kingston international school. well, i figured since i want to work into the education sector, the best place to be and improve myself is with a full-fledged school with a campus, departments and opportunities to work towards a higher goal, instead of the education/tuition centres which only offer classes that are considered a supplement to mainstream education. i was pretty surprised when they brought me into the director's office and confirmed me on the spot. i guess it is also because i told them ive got another offer at another centre, which sadly, i have to reject them now. so after i left, i spoke to mom and jiaquan about it. i didnt sign an official appointment letter, and jiaquan felt a little skeptical that they might not accept me because nothing is finalised until i have it in black and white. im quite optimistic though. i liked the place, and i think i did quite well while speaking to the people there. moreover, we had already discussed starting dates and which classes they would want to hand to me to teach. i just hope they didnt have the official appointment letter ready because they didnt expect they'll confirm anyone on the spot that every day. well, no matter how, i'll hope this goes well and i can start work next thursday.
