i really did find the film pretty captivating cause it doesnt really have a long moment of silence with nothing to expect. youd probably be able to react to some bloody image of a head crawling out every 10 minutes. shawn yue was looking quite good in there, although the uniform. yet, the ending was somehow predictable. but then, it could be this lingering feeling of wanting to know whether it ends the way you think it will that makes it interesting. fiona xie did breakthrough her pretty little princess image from mediacorp and emerged differently. it's not easy let the audience feel safe about you and then turn into this creepy ghastly figure. and i always feel it's the villians and ugly people that really takes the skill to renact. thumbs up for Rule #1. you should watch it, especially if you've been overly pressurised and really need a good scream.
